Home support in Cardiff

Practical, compassionate support to help people create calmer spaces, workable routines and stronger foundations for everyday life — at their own pace, in their own home.

What we do in Cardiff

Mundus works alongside people rather than taking control from them. Support is agreed around the individual, not imposed as a one-size-fits-all programme.

Practical support

Helping people establish manageable systems for everyday tasks, schedules and household routines.

Environmental organisation

Supporting people to organise their living space in a sustainable and personally meaningful way.

Behavioural support

Identifying practical barriers and building achievable routines and strategies that support individual goals.

Wellbeing & community connection

Compassionate, non-judgemental support and signposting, plus help reconnecting with community life.

Who we support

We primarily support adults who may benefit from practical, person-centred assistance. We do not define people by a diagnosis — we focus on the individual, their circumstances, strengths, goals and environment.

  • Adults experiencing mental-health-related barriers
  • People experiencing chronic disorganisation or hoarding-related difficulties
  • Socially isolated adults
  • People facing significant life transitions
  • Carers needing practical support or signposting
  • Families supporting a relative at home
  • People who need support to regain confidence and independence

What Mundus is not

Unless the appropriate qualifications, registration, insurance and regulatory arrangements are in place, Mundus will not present itself as providing:

  • personal care
  • nursing
  • medical treatment
  • psychiatric treatment
  • psychotherapy
  • emergency intervention
  • statutory social work

Where needs exceed our scope, we refer or signpost to an appropriate qualified professional or statutory service.

Areas we cover

We support people in Cardiff and surrounding areas, including communities in and around the Vale of Glamorgan such as Penarth, Barry and Dinas Powys.
