Referrals, commissioning & partnership

For professionals: refer or commission Mundus

Practical, person-centred support for clients in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. Find out how to refer, what we can deliver, and how commissioning works.

Who we work with

Mundus partners with professionals and organisations who need practical, non-clinical support for people experiencing difficulties with home environments, routines, independence or community connection.

  • Social workers and statutory teams
  • Hospital discharge and reablement teams
  • GPs, primary care networks and community mental-health teams
  • Housing and tenancy support officers
  • Charities and third-sector organisations
  • Local authorities and commissioners
  • Corporate and community partners

Why refer to Mundus?

We fill the practical gap between clinical or statutory services and independent living. For clients who are otherwise safe but struggling with routines, organisation or confidence at home, Mundus can provide the consistent, person-centred practical support that helps prevent deterioration, readmission or tenancy breakdown.

As a proposed Community Interest Company (CIC), Mundus reinvests surplus into community benefit and measures success by outcomes, not just income.

What we can deliver

Practical home support

Help with routines, environmental organisation, behaviour strategies and community connection for people who do not need personal or clinical care.

Workshops & training

Educational sessions for staff, teams and community groups on wellbeing, organisation, routines and practical coping strategies.

Commissioned programmes

Fixed-price programmes and pilot projects with measurable social outcomes, subject to procurement and eligibility requirements.

Professional boundaries & safeguarding

Mundus operates within clearly defined competence and regulatory boundaries. We maintain the same standards online, in writing and in person.

  • We provide practical and wellbeing-focused support within clear competence and role boundaries.
  • We do not provide personal care, nursing, medical treatment, psychotherapy, crisis intervention or statutory social work.
  • We maintain confidentiality and handle personal information lawfully.
  • We work with consent and involve the client in decisions about their support.
  • Where needs exceed our scope, we signpost or refer to appropriate qualified professionals or statutory services.

How to refer

  1. 1

    Contact us

Phone, email or use the contact form. Briefly outline the client's situation and what support you are seeking.

  2. 2

    Initial discussion

We talk through whether Mundus is appropriate, availability, boundaries and any safeguarding considerations.

  3. 3

    Consent & information sharing

Where the client is an adult with capacity, we seek their consent before accepting a referral. We handle information lawfully and confidentially.

  4. 4

    Agreed plan

We agree goals, boundaries, review points and reporting arrangements with the referrer and client where appropriate.

Commissioning & pricing

Mundus is developing a mixed-income model. Commissioned work and organisational contracts are priced according to scope, duration and outcomes required.

Working pricing assumption: individual support is modelled at £65 per billable hour, with session packages, structured programmes, workshops and fixed-price commissioned programmes available.

For partnership, commissioning or grant-funded programmes, we can provide a proposal outlining intended outcomes, measures and reporting.
